Long tail keywords
Long-tail keywords consist of three to five or even more words. When searching for more specific results, web users tend to type a longer query (i.e.: a long-tail keyword) into Google or another search engine in order to get more relevant results.
Mid tail keywords
A medium tail keyword (aka ‘broad match’ or ‘chunky’) is a moderately competitive search engine term that represents medium search volume and medium ranking difficulty (and consequently medium conversion probability).
Short tail keywords
Short tail keywords are search phrases with only one or words. Their length
makes them less specific than searches with more words. Short-tail keywords are much more general search queries consisting of one or two words
